The Student Government Association announced the deadlines for some of its fall openings, including some aimed at freshman students.
The freshman-only First Year Council will take applications until 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 26. FYC is a way for freshmen who are interested in student government to enter into the SGA for the first semester of school. There are 50 positions available.
Lobby Board is also taking applications, which are due at 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 29.education through written and personal contact. They also lead efforts
Campus’ campaign supervisor, the SGA Election’s board, will consider applicants until 10 p.m. on Aug. 19. August 19. The board is responsible for maintaining the integrity of SGA elections and enforcing the rules laid out for candidates.
