Tuscaloosa Amphitheater welcomes Casting Crowns

Casting Crowns are throwing down at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater this weekend.

As part of their “The Very Next Thing Tour,” Casting Crowns, a contemporary Christian band, will hold a concert tonight, Friday, April 20 at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6. The band I Am They will support. 

According to the band’s website, their discography strives to encourage believers at wherever they are in their walk with Christ. Mark Hall, the front man of Casting Crowns, uses personal experiences to inspire the music he and his band perform. They hope to help believers mature in their faiths with the relatable themes in their songs.

In an interview on www.castingcrowns.com, Hall described the message of the new album.

“You can follow God from right where you are,” Hall said. “In the condition you are in right now, you can follow Him and He will make you His.”
