The Alabama Men’s Tennis team capped off an already successful Crimson Tide Four-In-The-Fall with an outstanding final day.

Sophomore Riccardo Roberto defeated Pat Harper of Tennessee, 6-3, 2-6, 6-1, to win the Houndstooth Draw Championship.  The sophomore excelled in the opening tournament of the season, winning all three of his singles matches.

After losing his first match of the tournament, sophomore Patrick Kaukovalta swept his remaining matches, including a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Miami’s Dane Dunlap.  Junior Zhe Zhou did not play a match today because of a walkover and sophomore Sam Fischer dropped his match to Miami’s Tatsuki Shimamoto, 6-2, 1-6, 1-0 (10-6).

The Crimson Tide will return to action next weekend at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the Ivy Plus Invitational in Princeton, New Jersey.
