Students to meet with school systems at Education Interview Day

Students can attend Education Interview Day to get a resume review, dress tips and more. Dress for the event is business professional.

What: Education Interview Day

Who: The event is organized by the Career Center. It is free for seniors in the College of Education and alumni. Attendees are recommended to bring resumes.

When: Wednesday, Oct. 24, with student check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Interviews will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with various school systems.

Where: On the second floor of the Ferg, outside the theater

Why:

“This event is for education majors and some math and chemistry majors,” said Schernavia Hall, director of the Career Center.

“Anyone seeking any type of full-time teaching position within education should attend this event,” Hall said. “We have various school systems here, not just in the state of Alabama but also from out of state as far as Alaska coming to recruit students to come teach within their school systems.”
