A prize created to award unselfish service was inspired by President Judy Bonner, and will be distributed annually to a deserving member of the University’s faculty or staff, according to The Tuscaloosa News. The Judy Bonner Presidential Medallion Prize was established on Friday, when the UA Board of Trustees accepted a $1 million donation from John D. Johns, and his wife, Nancy.
