PRACTICE REPORT: Alabama powers through injury bug

PRACTICE REPORT: Alabama powers through injury bug

Alabama’s not letting the injury bug slow down practices.

Quarterback Jake Coker fully participated in drills today, including scrambling drills, and his leg did not appear to slow him down. Coker led the quarterback lines, followed, Alec Morris, Cooper Bateman, David Cornwell, and Blake Barnett and walk-on number 19 in order, while number 10 primarily threw passes to tight ends running drills.

PRACTICE NOTES:

  • RB Kenyan Drake participated in drills with with the other running backs today, but he appeared sluggish and at times favoring his leg.
  • Backup center Josh Casher practiced in a black non contact jersey.
  • WR Raheem Falkins was in a black non-contact jersey and a walking boot.
  • The defensive backs spent the viewing period working on one on one and smaller group drills.
