Investigators found a woman who went missing in the April 27, 2011 tornado healthy in Florida, a press release from the Tuscaloosa Police Department confirmed.
TPD investigators received information that Laurie Anne Macconnell was located in Florida on Nov. 19, the release read.
“An investigator with the Tuscaloosa Police Department was able to speak to Ms. Macconnell over the phone and verify that she was the person listed as missing, and she was in good health,” the release read.
Latoya Brown and Teresa Marioquen, a mother and a daughter, are still missing in connection with the tornado, the release read. Those with information are asked to contact TPD.
