UAPD issues advisory following off-campus robbery report

The University of Alabama police department issued an advisory following a report of an off-campus robbery Friday night. According the the UAPD release, the robbery occurred in the 100 block of 15th street. 

“The victim reported the suspect approached him with a gun and demanded money from him,” the advisory stated. “The suspect was unsuccessful and fled the area northbound on foot. There were no injuries reported.”

UAPD delivered the following description of the suspect, who, at the time of the advisory, is at large:

  • Black Male
  • Approximately 5’10
  • Approximately 140 pounds
  • Wearing a black “hoodie” sweatshirt and black pants
  • Unknown age
