WHAT: Follow Your Arrow 5k
WHO: Pi Beta Phi
WHEN: Saturday, March 5, 12-3 p.m. Check-in begins at 11 a.m.
WHERE: Check-in at the Student Recreation Center parking lot. The race takes place along the 5k loop around UA campus.
WHY: “Students should participate in the event because all of the money raised goes to a great cause, they can earn three Greek points for registering, and it is going to be a beautiful day to run or walk with friends, family members and even pets,” said Hannah Pope, vice president of philanthropy for the Alabama chapter of Pi Beta Phi.
All money raised will go to the Pi Beta Phi Foundation and towards Read>Lead>Achieve initiatives to support programs such as Champions Are Readers and Arrow in the Arctic.
There is a $20 registration fee and an optional t-shirt for sale. Registration can be completed here.
