Students can try international food and dance at the Crimson Culture Gala

This Thursday, Smith Hall will host many of the University’s cultural organizations in an event called The Crimson Culture Gala.

The exposition will feature the the African Student Association, the Arabic Language and Culture Club, the German Club, the Italian Club, the Indian Student Association and more. The event will be catered by international restaurants from around Tuscaloosa, including Edelweiss, Mr. Chen’s, Pita Pit, Sitar and Taziki’s.

Students in attendance can try their hand at Bollywood, Arabic and Latin dance lessons. Those attending are encouraged to dress in cultural attire.

The Crimson Culture Gala is being put on by the Honors College Assembly, the International Student Association, Blend and the South Asian Society.

The event will take place in Smith Hall’s Grand Gallery, and will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 11:30 p.m.
