Alabama Law Review to host symposium on changes in modern Supreme Court

Life After Scalia: Justice Gorsuch and Modern Textualism on the Supreme Court

The Alabama Law Review is sponsoring this event.

Where: 

Bedsole Moot Court Room (140) Law Center

Why: 

Sloane Bell, special works editor for The Alabama Law Review, said the symposium will have five sessions with talks from legal academics from across the country. 

“The passing of Justice Scalia two years ago and recent appointment of Justice Neil Gorsuch to the United States Supreme Court signaled a shift in the future of textualism and the Supreme Court,” Bell said. “We expect the symposium to be an interesting and informative event and invite all who have an interest in attending.”
