What: Mayor Maddox Discussion

Who: College of Communication and Information Sciences students and faculty can attend and must RSVP.

When: Wednesday, April 25, 1-1:50 p.m.

Where: Digital Media Center, Studio A

Why: Tuscaloosa Mayor and candidate for governor, Walt Maddox, will join students to discuss authentic communication in politics.

Neil Adams, coordinator of employer relations for C&IS, said that the discussion would take place much like that of a talk show, providing students opportunities to hear from Maddox about truth in political communication.

“The College of Communication and Information Sciences is sponsoring a discussion with Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox on Wednesday, April 25 in conjunction with classes in communication studies,” Adams said. “The discussion will take place in a fun and engaging talk-show format, providing C&IS students an opportunity to hear remarks on authenticity in political communication.”
