Organized by the Office of Health Promotion and Wellness, the annual Quad in Motion event encourages members of the University to take 30 minutes out of their day to participate in some sort of physical activity as a group on the Quad. The event will be spread out across four “activity” stations, with the chance to pick up wellness goodies for each lap completed.

What: Fourth annual Quad in Motion

Who: Faculty and staff are the target population, but students are welcome to participate.

When: Wednesday, Sept.12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: The Quad

Why:

“I believe that everyone can benefit from this,” said Carolyn MacVicar, program coordinator for Office of Health Promotion and Wellness. “I think Quad in Motion is a great way to show people that 30 minutes can make them feel really good.”

MacVicar said in general they are focusing on people coming out and enjoying the University’s beautiful campus.
