Alabama continued its winning ways as it defeated Texas A&M, 13-3. The Crimson Tide got offensive production from every player in the starting lineup, as they reached base safely.

Claire Jenkins hit her seventh home run of the year and her fourth in four SEC games. Bailey Hemphill’s three RBI game pushes her total to 47 RBIs on the year, the most in the country. Elissa Brown continued to be a menace on the base paths as she stole two more bases in the game, she now has 23 on the year.

On defense, Alabama did not make many mistakes as it only committed one error behind another great start from Montana Fouts. The freshman gave up two runs on three hits and struck out 10 in five innings of work. Courtney Gettins came in relief to close out the game. She gave up one run on three hits in the 1.0 inning she pitched.

Game two between the Aggies and the Crimson will commence on Saturday, first pitch is slated for 2 p.m.
