Alabama’s fall camp continued with an evening practice on Thursday. Here are our observations from the media viewing period:

Freshman D.J. Dale was missing from the evening practice. The Crimson Tide are now missing two key pieces in its defensive line as junior LaBryan Ray is still out with an ankle injury.

Redshirt senior Anfernee Jennings and redshirt junior Terrell Lewis led the outside linebackers in drills followed by redshirt sophomore Christopher Allen. Lewis and Jennings have begun to be looked toward as leaders for the group as both players critiqued their teammates on certain techniques.

Sophomore cornerback Josh Jobe was once again in full pads for Thursday night’s practice. The order of defensive backs remained the same with sophomore Patrick Surtain and senior Trevon Diggs leading the way.

The group of inside linebackers continues to be led by junior Dylan Moses and redshirt senior Joshua McMillon. Sophomore Jaylen Moody and redshirt sophomore Markail Benton followed right behind them as the group worked on dropping into coverage and then moving forward to make a play on a throw from the coaches.
