Week Two of the NFL season once again saw many former Alabama standouts continue to perform well at the highest level.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper had four catches for nee touchdown and 44 yards while facing fellow Alabama alum and Washington Redskins safety Landon Collins. Collins finished with 12 tackles including one tackle for a loss.

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry had 81 rushing yards and a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts.

Green Bay Packers punter J.K. Scott continued to impress on special teams by averaging 48 yards per punt, with his longest punt going for 59 yards against the Minnesota Vikings.

Miami Dolphins safety Minkah Fitzpatrick finished with six tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. On Monday night, Fitzpatrick was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a 2020 first-round pick.

In a defensive matchup, Chicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson had 10 tackles with two pass breakups, which helped to defeat the Denver Broncos 16-14.

Oakland Raiders rookie running back Josh Jacobs rushed for 99 yards on 12 carries against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley caught eight passes for 105 yards and hauled in one touchdown. Alongside Ridley, wide receiver Julio Jones finished with five catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns including the game-winning 54-yard catch-and-run to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-20. Jones became the Falcons’ all-time leading wide receiver in yards and Alabama’s all-time NFL leader in yards from scrimmage.

On Monday night, Cleveland Browns head coach and former Alabama quarterback Freddie Kitchens picked up his first win as a NFL head coach.
