Alabama falls to Arkansas in five tight sets on Sunday, closing out its weekend on the road.

The loss pushes the losing streak to four for Alabama, as two-straight points and a costly attack error which sealed the victory for the Razorbacks. Despite the error in the fifth set, the Crimson Tide found success on offense tallying 54 kills, 54 assists and a season-high nine service aces. Senior outside hitter Ginger Perinar and redshirt junior outside hitter Ashley Homan contributed to the nine service aces, earning five and four, respectively.

Junior outside hitter Doris Carter once again led the team in kills, earning 13. It was Carter’s third game in the past four where she tallied double-digit kills and hit over .200 for the game. Freshman Alyiah Wells was the only other member of the Crimson Tide to record double-digit kills, as she finished with 11.

Alabama will look to get back in the win column as it will conclude its final road trip of the season as the team will travel Tennessee to take on the Lady Volunteers on Friday, Nov. 22.
