Birmingham Band Scene: Korn and Breaking Benjamin to play Oak Mountain Ampitheatre

Headed to Birmingham for the weekend? The Summer Set, Korn and Kandace Springs will all play upcoming shows in the Magic City.

The Summer Set at Workplay Theatre: The Summer Set brings their punk rock sound to Birmingham for a stop on their Made For You Tour this Friday starting at 8 p.m. Joining them will be William Beckett and Hudson Thames. Tickets are $16 and a $3 charge will be collected at the door from anyone under 21. Tickets can be purchased at workplay.com.

The Crookes, Step Rockets and Lolas at The Nick: If indie rock is more your style The Nick will have The Crookes and Step Rockets on Friday night. They’ll also be adding in some pop from the Birmingham based Lolas. The show is 21 and older and tickets are $8. They can be purchased at thenickrocks.com.

The Oh Hellos and Penny and Sparrow at Iron City: Birmingham Mountain Radio will present The Oh Hellos and their electric folk rock sound on Friday night at Iron City. Also playing will be Penny and Sparrow. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $18 and can be purchased at ironcitybham.com.

Korn and Breaking Benjamin at the Oak Mountain Ampitheatre: Looking for some metal music? Korn and Breaking Benjamin will be at the Oak Mountain Ampitheatre Friday Night at 6. Tickets range from $50 to $115 and can be purchased at theoakmountainamphitheater.com.

Kandace Springs at Workplay Theatre: Workplay will host R&B artist Kandace Springs on Saturday. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 and a $3 charge will be collected at the door from anyone under 21. Tickets can be purchased at workplay.com.

Set It Off with Patent Pending and Polyenso at Workplay Theatre: To round out the weekend, Set It Off will be in town for their Something New Tour at the Workplay Theatre on Sunday. The orchestral pop rock group will be bring Patent Pending and Polyenso with them. The show starts at 8 p.m and tickets are $15. A $3 charge will be collected at the door from anyone under 21.
