Alabama was back inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility on a cloudy Thursday afternoon. Here are our observations from today’s practice:

Henry Ruggs III was back and participated in wide receiver drills during the media viewing period. Ruggs who sustained an injury to his hip flexor against Ole Miss, did not participate in any drills on Tuesday and Wednesday. The receivers worked through various routes in pairs as DeVonta Smith and Jerry Jeudy went first followed by Ruggs and Tyrell Shavers.

Jedrick Wills Jr. was seen in pads at practice but did not participate in any drills. Also, Chris Owens was not spotted at practice as the offensive line worked on blocking in pairs.  Landon Dickerson moved into the first team center spot in Owens’ absence and was followed by Darrian Dalcourt and Emil Ekiyor Jr. With Wills standing off to the side, Matt Womack lined up at right tackle next to Deonte Brown when the right tackle and right guards worked on blocks together.

For the second straight practice Major Tennison was an onlooker at practice as the TE’s worked on simple in-routes during the media viewing period. Miller Forristall led off the group followed by Cameron Latu, Giles Amos and Jahleel Billingsley.

D.J. Dale was also seen at practice today but did not participate in individual drills during the media viewing period. Coach Nick Saban said that Dale was supposed to practice in at least one of the final two practices during the bye week.
